It's kind of ironic that I've spent the time to remove the scratches from the surface and around the inside perimeter of the windscreen I am making sure that the mating surface is scuffed to give the canopy glue better adhesion to the plastic. I'm using a small piece of 400 grit paper to accomplish the job.
