Two 1/4" rare earth were embedded into the fuselage to hold the step in place. If you recall, the bracket and tubing were made from brass, so you may be wondering how the brass is sticking to the magnet? The ten screws which have been clipped and epoxied onto the bracket are made from steel!!!
