I have two servos Y'd together for my P-51 Mustang flaps. (When Y'd the flaps are slightly out of sync.)

Can you help me program the radio to separate the flaps to two trim switches (one on the flap trim and the other on the Aux trim)? I have one available port - Aux 4 (that could be used for one of the flaps). The reason I need to have the flaps on separate servos is to trim each separately to make them match. Can you help me to figure out how to do this on this radio so that the flap switch will work both flaps for the landing with a trim for each flap?

Your help will be greatly appreciated. I'm stuck!

More radio channels is the cure for matching flap deflections not messing with trim.

Separate the servos then use the d/rate mode and adjust the linkage to sync them.

The 9303 has enough channels to support motor, rudder, gear, dual ailerons, dual elevators, and dual flaps! To do this, the gear will have to be relocated to the AUX4 channel. The default dual flap trims alone may not solve your problem. The flap trim makes the flaps move in the normal flap manner. The aux trim makes them move in an aileron manner. With dual flaps, the center positions and flap travel can individually be adjusted.

If the above is insufficient to cure your flap problem, the next step would to be to program a balance mix.

The aircraft will fly better if you can get the flaps synchronized. However, there is a quick and dirty solution that could be used with your existing setup. Use a FLAP > AILE curve program mix. Program mixes 1 & 2 on the 9303 are curve mixes. The 9303 normal mixes aren’t adequate whether you are using the FLAP SYS or a lever to control the flaps.
